Pemo plugins can now provide WorkBuddy Skill packages.
The plugin management page adds a WorkBuddy Skills export entry. After export and installation in WorkBuddy, a Skill can call selected Pemo plugin capabilities through Pemo's local tool gateway, including video download, subtitle download and extraction, file translation, text-to-speech, and PDF parsing.
Unified Reader Annotations
PDF and EPUB annotation capabilities have been reorganized and unified.
The annotation list now supports filtering by type, including highlights, underlines, translations, notes, text annotations, image annotations, and ink annotations.
Annotation import and export are now supported. You can export the current document's annotations as a .pemo-annotations.json file, or import annotations from a file.
During import, Pemo detects new, unchanged, and conflicting annotations. For conflicts, you can compare the current and imported versions side by side and choose which one to keep.
Translation Annotations and Source Navigation
Selected-text translation results can now be saved as translation annotations, preserving the source text, translation, explanation, phonetics, definitions, common translations, examples, and usage notes.
You can navigate back to the original PDF or EPUB location from translation annotations, note references, and auto-note sources, making it easier to trace notes back to their source material.
